At exali, we believe that companies should not only be economically successful. On the contrary: they should definitely take on social responsibility as well. That is why we are committed to social projects that are close to our hearts, putting our passion and energy into them. Whether through small gestures or long-term initiatives, we want to make a positive contribution and support people in difficult situations.
The following is an overview of our current projects:
beefuture
Our own bee colony not only allows us to make an important contribution to environmental protection, but also gives us our own exali honey every year. We support beefuture in its sustainable nature and environmental protection. In this way, biological diversity is also preserved for future generations.
Blood Donation
A single blood donation can help up to three people, for example in the event of accidents, surgery or serious illnesses such as cancer. Unfortunately, blood cannot be produced artificially. It is therefore essential that healthy people donate. To create an additional incentive here, exali counts blood donations as working hours.
Kameloase Langerringen
On two days we went to the Kameloase Langerringen, a refuge for animals that would otherwise have ended up being slaughtered. We found out about this great project, which urgently needed help, through a social media post. After the sudden termination of a leased property, the project had to move – quickly. As a team, we sorted stones, built fences, paved and, of course, spent time with the animals.
Lichtblicke e.V.
We sewed Hicki bags for Lichtblicke e.V., a parents' initiative for children with cancer in Augsburg. These are used to store the ports for administering chemotherapy drugs so that they do not pull on the skin. Unfortunately, these bags are not commercially available on the market, but have to be individually adapted to the ports depending on the clinic. We hope that our Hicki bags have brought at least a small smile to the faces of these young patients.
mamazone e.V.
As part of a team effort, we sewed almost 100 heart-shaped pillows for breast cancer patients. These special pillows help alleviate pain after surgery and provide comfort in difficult times. The pillows were then donated to mamazone e.V., an association that distributes the pillows to the oncology wards in Augsburg. With our initiative, we want to encourage those affected and provide support.
Movember Foundation e.V.
In their daily lives, men often pay less attention to their health than women. Traditional role models make it difficult for them to take care of their own body. They also encourage a greater willingness to take risks. We want to counteract this and raise awareness for men's health. That's why we actively promote a down-shaving campaign during Movember. Some of our male colleagues grew their beards for the entire month of November for a good cause and shaved them off at the end of the month to form a moustache. For each moustache, exali donated €50 to the Movember Foundation, which is committed to men's well-being.
Post mit Herz
Unfortunately, many people in nursing and old people's homes no longer have any relatives. These people feel particularly lonely during the holidays. Therefore we have joined forces with the „Post mit Herz“ (mail with heart) organization to ensure that these people do not feel forgotten.
Foundation Bunter Kreis
When a child has an accident, falls seriously ill or is born prematurely, the lives of the families affected change abruptly. Parents can hardly cope with this alone. For over 30 years, Bunter Kreis has been supporting children and families in precisely these situations. We have been making our contribution through regular donations since 2017.
